Home for the Holidays

It  was a great week, having Christian and Sheyanne home for Christmas.  It to hear them laughing and sharing fun times with one another.  Christian will be her for a month, Shey only a week, but no matter how long they are here, every minute is a precious time.

Christmas games

Christian got a call from Flemming Security and was offered a weekend position doing travel security on Sturday and Sunday morning, then being on call in the afternoon in case there is an alarm.  He was excited about the job, and of course accepted it.  His school schedule was such that working at the tire shop was going to be impossible.  He contacted the City of Montrose, where he worked last summer, making  sure that they knew he wated to return to his position as a part time, summer employee, maintaing the grounds at RiverBottom Park.  His job will be waiting for him.

He is doing so well in school, got good grade, and his confidence is increasing in his academics.  He makes good decisions.  He is wise beyond his  years.  We are all so very proud of him, after all of the times he could have taken the wrong road, he make good choices, took the right road.  He will  build a successful life for himself.

Second semester is underway, job is going well as are his classses.
